We have discovered this morning that the gig scheduled for this Saturday 20th February at Club Twist has been cancelled. The promoter has made this decision and we have had no prior knowledge of this. In fact, the promoter has yet to make contact with us and inform us of this decision, we have found out indirectly via the internet. We have made every effort for this gig to go ahead and we pride ourselves in never cancelling gigs. Since this band's inception we have never cancelled a Four Fighters gig! If you were one of the several people who has purchased tickets, please go back to your point of purchase for a refund. Sincere apologies.

Happy New Year 2010!!!
posted on Jan 3rd, 2010 by Four Fighters.
We'd like to wish everyone who has had any involvement with this band all the best for 2010. This has, once again been the best year for this band. Year on year, the band goes from strength to strength and this is borne out by the quality of gigs that we now seem to be attracting. We already have many festival appearances lined up for next year and more overseas trips in the pipeline. We are looking forward to strengthening our relationships with our current venues and building more new relationships as we continue to pick up new venues and events. We will never take for granted the people who allow us to do what we do, so we must thank all of the venue owners, festival organisers and promoters we have worked with and most of all, the people who have come to any of our gigs and supported us throughout the year! Once again, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

We are very excited to announce that our very good friends Queens Of The Clone Age will be appearing with us at Gasworks in Bradford on Friday 18th December. This will be our last gig of the year in our hometown and is now set to be an even bigger event! We've known these guys for a long time and they've finally put this band together (web pages coming soon). We look forward to doing more gigs with them in 2010. Watch this space...
Awesome Summer!
posted on Sep 28th, 2009 by Four Fighters
It's been a while since we posted any news, but we must make mention on here of the summer we've just had and what is turning out (once again!) to be the best year yet for this band!
This year has seen us at some new venues and we have built some great new relationships with the people at these venues and their owners. We've had our fair share of summer festivals including: The Cobo Bay Festival in Guernsey, our first appearance at the Glastonbudget Festival, Fake Festivals' Rockfests at Howden and Belton, Monsters Of Rock tribute festival in Dublin, Mychoone Festival in Derbyshire, our second consecutive appearance at Trbfest and the awesome Bosrock Festival in Belgium.
We would like to thank everyone involved in all of the above and all of the venues who have put their faith in us and have accommodated us so generously this year. We have been gigging far and wide with more overseas gigs this year than ever before. Though for the first year in a while, for some reason we have not been north of the border. This we will have to rectify, so look out for some Scottish dates in the future!
2009 is far from over yet, however and there are still plenty of dates left. We shall be sure to finish the year in the same way as we have approached all of our gigs to date - Hurricane Force Ten! See you on the road...
Awesome Gig at Mr Kyps!
posted on Jul 27th, 2009 by Four Fighters
We just want to say a huge thank-you to all the people who came to our sellout gig at Mr Kyps in Poole last Saturday. It was an amazing night and you all sang along from the very beginning! We got some awesome video footage that will, no doubt make it onto our new dvd/promo video. Thanks also to Kyp and the rest of his team for putting us on and we look forward to returning in November...
Tonight's gig cancelled!
posted on Jul 23rd, 2009 by Four Fighters
We have just returned from a five-hour round trip to the Limelight in Crewe. Upon arrival we were told that the venue would be closed until further notice as they were having some "licensing issues". This situation is completely out of our control. We apologise to anybody who was planning on going to this gig. We will endeavour to put a replacemant date in at the LImelight in the not too distant future!
Thank-yous!
posted on Jul 17th, 2009 by Four Fighters
Over the last few months we have had a few of our good friends standing in for one or another of our band members at some gigs. Sometimes life gets in the way of things and some personal commitments can't be moved. So we are very lucky that we have been able to carry on without missing a beat. Normal service has now been resumed, but we would like to thank Wally, Dan, Dunk and George for their perfect musical contributions whilst stepping into the breach.

We return for our third visit to Monroe's Carnegie Theatre in Workington tonight (Saturday). Our first two gigs there were awesome and we had a full house each night. It's a great place to see a live band so let's try to make it three sellouts in a row! See the dates page for more details...

Festivals Confirmed!

Today we are proud to announce confirmation of our involvement in two great festivals in 2009. In May we will finally be on the bill for Glastonbudget, which is one of Europe's biggest and fastest-growing tribute festivals. And on 19th September we will be travelling to Belgium to take part in the Bosrock Festival in Lummen which supports some great causes. More details will be posted here as and when we get them. The Belgian date will be sandwiched between two Dutch dates; one of which will be with our good friends at MC de Bosuil in Weert, the other an, as yet unconfirmed festival date. watch this space...
Cannock Gig Cancelled.
posted on Feb 9th, 2009 by Four Fighters
After numerous unsuccessful attempts to contact the venue and the promoter, we have no option, but to cancel this Thursday's gig at the LA Rock Cafe in Cannock. The venue has been "closed for refurbishment" for some time, but nobody has made contact with us to confirm whether the gig is going ahead or not. Apologies to anyone who was going to come, but we are working on getting more gigs for the future in the area.

We regret to announce that the ROCKTOBERFEST gigs scheduled for 2nd October at Club Innocence in Newmarket and 5th October at The Point in Cardiff have been cancelled. This is in no way down to us. It is an issue between the promoter and the venue. It seems that Toxic Twins are also no longer taking part in these gigs. The gig scheduled for Friday 3rd October at Holmfirth Picturedrome is going ahead as planned with a revised lineup of bands. See venue for details

Festival Weekend:
posted on Aug 19th, 2008 by Four Fighters
Last weekend's gigs were a resounding success! Thursday at the Walkabout in Newquay was well worth the 750-mile round trip. It was a raucous, sweaty affair! We hope to be back there for the Boardmasters weekend next year! We travelled back up to Yorkshire on Friday for the big outdoor gig that was Tribfest. The weather was good (which is a break from the norm for this year!) and we ripped through an hour of classic Foo Fighters material to the lairy festival campers! Saturday saw us at the Goole Rockfest. This was a smaller affair, but all the more intense for it and the sound was incredible! We'd like to thank Eddy and Jez respectively for their efforts in organising the two festivals and involving us in the two events. And don't forget, if you saw us at any of the gigs over the weekend, give us your thoughts in a gig review...
Keep an eye on our photo gallery as we'll be adding images from the weekend's events in the next few days. Also note that the next gig is at the LA Rock Cafe in Cannock which is a late addition to our giglist.
